NVA Title was founded by Charles W. Hazelwood, Jr., a licensed Virginia attorney, over 30 years ago. Charles W. Hazelwood, Jr. is currently Vice President and General Counsel of NVA Title.
NVA Title is an independent title company. Our goal is to provide the best settlement services and title insurance at the lowest cost to the consumer. As a result, NVA Title does not enter into any revenue sharing arrangements with any lenders or realtors. Since NVA Title does not engage in affiliated business arrangements with lenders and realtors, NVA Title does not have to share our income with realtors or lenders.
In our 35 years of operation, NVA Title has handled thousands of real estate transactions. We have handled settlements from the typical residential sale to the complex commercial transactions. No transaction is too small or too large for NVA Title to handle. Our clients have ranged from the individual consumer to large banks, credit unions and builders.
NVA Title is a licensed title insurance agent under the laws of Virginia and has been appointed as an agent of Old Republic National Title Insurance Company, Stewart Title Guranty Company and WFG National Title Insurance Company. In addition, NVA Title is a licensed settlement service provider under the provisions of the Virginia Consumer Real Estate Settlement Protection Act and is fully bonded and insured as provided in the Act.
